Account data. When you register, we collect your email address and a bcrypt hash of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
Activity data. When you are logged in, we store the bills you bookmark and the bills you view, so we can show you your history and bookmarks. You can export or delete this data at any time from your profile page.
Google Sign-In. If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your email address and a Google account identifier from Google. We do not store your name or profile picture. Your use of Google Sign-In is also governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Limited data from logged-out visitors. If you visit while logged out, we may process limited technical data (such as IP address, device/browser information, and server logs) to operate, secure, and improve the service. We do not use this data for advertising or cross-site behavioral profiling.
We use cookies only when strictly necessary to provide core service functions, such as secure sign-in and maintaining an authenticated session.
We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or behavioral profiling. Authentication-related cookies are first-party, limited in scope, and not used to track your activity across third-party websites.
Visitors who are not signed in do not receive authentication cookies. Where required by applicable law, we handle cookie choices and disclosures in accordance with those legal requirements.
At this time, we do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. We do not permit third parties to collect personal data through our service for their own cross-site behavioral advertising purposes.
We use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate site usage (such as page views, referrers, and country-level trends). Plausible is configured as a cookieless analytics tool and is not used for advertising or cross-site behavioral profiling. Analytics processing may include limited technical request data handled in aggregate form to measure and improve service performance. See Plausible's data policy for details.
We use service providers to operate the service, including authentication and analytics providers (such as Google Sign-In and Plausible Analytics). Depending on where you access the service from, your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
Account and activity data: Article 6(1)(b) — processing necessary to perform the contract (providing you with your account, bookmarks, and history).
Auth cookies: Strictly necessary — no consent required under Article 5(3) ePrivacy Directive.
Google Sign-In identifiers: Article 6(1)(b) — processing necessary to authenticate your account and provide sign-in functionality you request.
Technical and security logs (including logged-out visits): Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests in operating, securing, and troubleshooting the service.
Plausible Analytics: Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests in understanding aggregate usage of the service and improving performance, with analytics configured to minimize personal data processing.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can export or delete your account data directly from your profile page. To request other rights, contact us at admin@legisdaily.ai. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Your account data is retained until you delete your account. After account deletion, we delete or de-identify account data within a reasonable period, subject to limited retention in backups, security logs, and legal compliance records where required by applicable law.
We may update this policy from time to time and will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice (for example, by in-product notice or email for account holders). Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before material changes take effect.
