This legislative act directs the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to disinter the remains of Fernando V. Cota from Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in Texas. This action must be completed no later than one year after the bill's enactment. Prior to disinterment, the Secretary is required to notify the next of kin of Fernando V. Cota. After the disinterment, the remains will either be relinquished to the identified next of kin, or if no response is received from the next of kin, the Secretary will arrange for their appropriate disposition.
