A joint resolution redesignating the Robert E. Lee Memorial in Arlington National Cemetery as the "Arlington House National Historic Site".

This joint resolution proposes to redesignate a significant historical site located within Arlington National Cemetery. Currently known as the Robert E. Lee Memorial, the site would officially become the "Arlington House National Historic Site" upon the enactment of this resolution. This change applies to the site administered by the National Park Service, which was originally dedicated as a memorial to Robert E. Lee. Furthermore, the resolution stipulates that any future references in United States law, regulations, maps, or other official documents to the former Robert E. Lee Memorial will be considered references to the newly named Arlington House National Historic Site. To solidify this change, the joint resolutions from 1955 and 1972 that established and amended the original Robert E. Lee Memorial are explicitly repealed .
