This bill requires the Secretary of Labor, in coordination with the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, to develop and publish state-specific notices detailing federal and state benefits available to veterans. These notices, to be created within 270 days of enactment, must include information on the Veterans Crisis Line , how to apply for benefits, and state-specific resources provided by individual states. The Secretaries are also mandated to review and update these notices at least twice annually, ensuring states have the opportunity to update their information. Under this legislation, employers with 50 or more employees are required to conspicuously post these notices in their workplaces. The Department of Labor and Department of Veterans Affairs will conduct a 180-day information campaign to inform employers about the new notice and the display requirement. While most provisions take effect upon enactment, the employer display requirement itself becomes effective one year after the bill's enactment.
