This legislation requires the Secretary of Labor, in coordination with the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, to develop and publish state-specific notices detailing available benefits for veterans. These notices, to be created within 270 days of enactment, will encompass benefits under both federal and state laws, with states given an opportunity to contribute their specific information. Each notice must include information on the Veterans Crisis Line and instructions on how to apply for the listed benefits. Employers with 50 or more employees are required to conspicuously post these notices in their workplaces, with the display requirement taking effect one year after the bill's enactment. The Department of Labor and Department of Veterans Affairs will also conduct an information campaign to inform employers about these new requirements and the availability of the notices, which will be publicly accessible on their respective websites.
