This bill amends title 38, United States Code, to expand vocational rehabilitation options for veterans with service-connected disabilities. It specifically authorizes the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to approve non-degree flight training programs as part of a rehabilitation program for these veterans. Currently, such flight training is generally limited to courses for credit towards a standard college degree. The amendment allows the Secretary to approve these non-degree flight training courses, notwithstanding existing limitations, thereby broadening the scope of vocational rehabilitation. These changes will apply to any rehabilitation program approved on or after August 1, 2025 .
