This legislation expands the authority of the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to provide or assist in providing adaptive vehicles for disabled individuals. Specifically, it amends existing law to allow the VA to cover the total shipping price for delivering an automobile or other conveyance to an eligible veteran, in addition to the purchase price. Furthermore, the bill extends a limitation on certain pension payments made by the Department of Veterans Affairs. The current expiration date of November 30, 2031, is moved to March 31, 2032 , thereby prolonging this specific financial provision.
