This bill amends the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act to establish the Endless Mountains National Heritage Area in Pennsylvania as a component of the National Heritage Area System. This new heritage area will encompass Bradford, Sullivan, Susquehanna, and Wyoming Counties, along with other areas identified in a feasibility study, with specific boundaries to be set by the Secretary of the Interior. The Endless Mountains Heritage Region, Inc. is designated as the local coordinating entity responsible for its management. The local coordinating entity is required to submit a proposed management plan for the heritage area to the Secretary of the Interior for approval within three years of the Act's enactment. Federal assistance for the Endless Mountains National Heritage Area will be provided by the Secretary of the Interior, but this authority will terminate 15 years after the date of enactment of this Act.
