Nutrition Administration Assistance Act of 2026

This legislation, known as the Nutrition Administration Assistance Act of 2026, aims to provide supplemental funding to states specifically for the administrative costs associated with several key nutrition programs. It authorizes an appropriation of $1,000,000 annually for fiscal years 2026 through 2030 to achieve this goal. The additional funds are strategically distributed among three critical programs. Seventy percent of the authorized funds are designated for the Commodity Supplemental Food Program , 20 percent for the Emergency Food Assistance Act of 1983 , and the remaining 10 percent for the Seniors Farmers' Market Nutrition Program . These allocations are intended to enhance states' operational capabilities in delivering these essential food assistance services.
