The F–47 Program Total Force Act of 2025

This bill mandates the Secretary of the Air Force to submit a comprehensive report on the F-47 advanced fighter aircraft program to congressional defense committees by March 1, 2027. The report must include a detailed description of the program, covering system requirements, employment concepts, and projected costs, schedule, and funding through fiscal year 2034. It further requires an acquisition strategy for the F-47 program of record, considering pathways such as middle tier or major capability acquisition. A proposed fielding strategy is also mandated, encompassing estimated force structure requirements, strategic basing considerations, military construction, and personnel training needs. A critical component of the report is a strategy for integrating Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve units into F-47 fighter aircraft operations, outlining planned force structure, association, training, and mobilization models. The report is to be submitted in unclassified form, with the option for a classified annex.
