This legislation amends the Boulder Canyon Project Act, granting the Secretary of the Interior new authority regarding the Colorado River Dam fund. The primary goal is to enable the use of specific financial resources for the sustained operation and improvement of critical infrastructure. The bill authorizes the Secretary to expend non-reimbursable recovered moneys from the fund for various activities. These include operations , maintenance , investigation and cleanup actions , and capital improvements within the Boulder Canyon Project at Hoover Dam or on land used for its construction and operation. All such expenditures must be made in consultation with the Boulder Canyon Project contractors.
