Securing Social Security Numbers Act This bill prohibits a commercial entity from (1) requesting that individuals disclose their Social Security numbers when purchasing a commercial good or service; or (2) in general, denying an individual the good or service for refusing to do so. In general, a commercial entity that has previously acquired Social Security numbers must purge them from its records.
