Throughout its history, the institution has significantly expanded its academic programs, including the establishment of graduate programs, schools of Nursing and Law, and a physician assistant program. It has also launched initiatives like the Mississippi College Honors College and the Edward McMillan Center for Education Abroad, alongside the Leland Speed Scholarship program to support Mississippi students.
