This victory capped a remarkable 14-game winning streak, which included defeating their archrivals, the University of Montana Grizzlies, twice and securing the 2025 Big Sky Conference Championship. Key players like quarterback Justin Lamson, who was named Most Outstanding Player, and Taco Dowler, along with crucial special teams plays, were instrumental in their success. The resolution further acknowledges the significant contributions of the players, coaches, staff, and fans whose hard work and dedication led to this championship.
