Furthermore, it requires a description of steps the U.S. government has taken to promote human rights in Rwanda and to assess the treatment of removed individuals, including their legal status and any individualized assessments conducted prior to removal. The resolution also seeks information on the potential misuse of U.S. security assistance, conditions in Rwandan detention centers, and any agreements or assurances related to the removal and treatment of these individuals.
