Under the Congressional Review Act , the Senate and House adopted a joint resolution that disapproves the Bureau of Land Management’s rule on the North Dakota Field Office Record of Decision and Approved Resource Management Plan . The rule, issued on January 14, 2025, was identified as a rule by the Government Accountability Office and published in the Congressional Record on June 26, 2025. By declaring the rule void, the resolution removes any legal authority it previously held. The disapproval was introduced by Senator Cramer and co-sponsored by Senator Hoeven.
