Fair Play for Girls Act

The "Fair Play for Girls Act" mandates the Attorney General to deliver a comprehensive report to specific Congressional committees within one year of its enactment. This report will focus on various challenges and forms of violence affecting females in athletics across the United States. Specifically, the report must analyze impediments to fair and safe competition for biological female athletes, including the impact of biological males competing in women's sports and the effectiveness of related state laws. It will also examine the prevalence and root causes of online violence, harassment, and abuse , as well as sexual harassment and abuse against women and girls in athletics. Furthermore, the report will assess the effectiveness of existing federal and state laws designed to prevent such harassment and abuse, culminating in policy recommendations to address these critical issues.
