Veteran Suicide Spousal Career Services Act

This legislation amends title 38, United States Code, to expand eligibility for the disabled veterans' outreach program , extending its career and employment services beyond eligible veterans to include certain spouses. The bill defines "eligible person" to encompass spouses of veterans with specific service-connected disabilities, spouses of individuals who died while serving in the Armed Forces, and spouses of those who died by suicide with a service-connected disability. By making these spouses eligible, the Act seeks to provide crucial support to families significantly impacted by military service, disability, and suicide. Additionally, it removes the "non-veteran-related" restriction from certain program activities, ensuring comprehensive integration of these new beneficiaries into the program's offerings.
