Redirecting Trump Slush Funds to Support Law Enforcement Act

This bill aims to prevent the use of federal funds for specific legal financial settlements and redirect those funds to law enforcement initiatives. Specifically, it prohibits any federal agency from using federal funds, including those from the Judgment Fund, for legal financial settlements that benefit the President personally or politically.

The legislation further bans the establishment or maintenance of any commission, fund, or other mechanism, such as the "Anti-Weaponization Fund," if intended to provide such compensation. In a separate provision, the bill appropriates $1,776,000,000 to the Attorney General. These appropriated funds are designated to support the Public Safety Officers' Death Benefits Program and the COPS Hiring Program, enhancing resources for law enforcement.
