GUARDRAILS Act

The "Guaranteeing and Upholding Americans' Right to Decide Responsible AI Laws and Standards Act," or GUARDRAILS Act , seeks to nullify a specific Executive Order concerning artificial intelligence. This legislation targets the Executive Order entitled "Ensuring a National Policy Framework for Artificial Intelligence," which was issued on December 11, 2025. Upon enactment, the bill mandates that this Executive Order shall have no force or effect . Crucially, it also prohibits the use of any Federal funds for the implementation, administration, enforcement, or execution of any part of the repealed Executive Order, thereby preventing its continued operation or support.
