Naturalization Accountability Act

This bill significantly alters the conditions under which naturalized citizenship can be revoked and prosecuted. It establishes that any felony conviction , occurring at any time, can serve as a direct ground for the revocation of naturalization. Additionally, the legislation removes the existing 5-year limitation on revoking naturalization for individuals who become members of certain totalitarian or treasonous organizations, allowing such revocations to occur without a time constraint. Finally, the bill eliminates the 10-year statute of limitation for criminal penalties associated with the unlawful procurement of citizenship or naturalization, enabling prosecution for these offenses at any time.
