ICE Funding Accountability Act

This bill establishes a spending limitation on funds appropriated or made available under Public Law 119-21, referred to as the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act." Its primary purpose is to restrict the use of these specific funds for certain immigration enforcement personnel activities. Specifically, the legislation prohibits the expenditure of these funds to pay the salaries of any U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) or U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents or officers who are hired on or after the date of the bill's enactment. Furthermore, it explicitly forbids the use of these funds for activities related to the recruitment , advertising for hiring, or payment of retention or sign-on bonuses for such new agents or officers. This measure aims to prevent the expansion of ICE and CBP personnel using funds from the designated act.
