A bill to allow certain Federal minerals to be mined consistent with the Bull Mountains Mining Plan Modification, and for other purposes.

This bill authorizes the mining of specific Federal coal reserves located on approximately 800 acres in Musselshell County, Montana. These reserves, leased under Federal Coal Lease MTM 97988 , are to be mined in accordance with the previously approved Bull Mountains Mining Plan Modification , Amendment 3. The legislation defines this modification as the one approved by the Department of the Interior on November 18, 2020. Furthermore, it mandates that the Secretary of the Interior must, within 30 days of the bill's enactment, approve this specific mining plan modification without any changes or delays to enable the mining of the described Federal land.
