ENFORCE Act

This bill strengthens federal laws against child sexual abuse material by clarifying and expanding the scope of child pornography production offenses under section 2252A of title 18, United States Code, ensuring federal jurisdiction applies when producers know or have reason to know material will be or has been transported interstate, or was made using interstate materials. It also significantly enhances enforcement for offenses involving obscene visual representations of child sexual abuse under section 1466A by removing the statute of limitations , mandating their inclusion in sex offender registration , establishing a presumption of detention pending trial, and requiring supervised release after imprisonment. To protect victims and control evidence, the legislation prohibits the reproduction of visual depictions during criminal proceedings, ensuring they remain in government or court custody, and grants identifiable minors depicted in such material access to their depictions, aligning with existing protections for child pornography victims.
