It specifically requires the Office of Integrated Veteran Care to develop guidance for VA medical centers on obtaining final medical documentation after veterans receive services from community providers. The bill also mandates the establishment of goals and performance measures for medical centers to secure both initial and final medical documentation from community care providers. Furthermore, it requires setting and monitoring goals for community providers' completion of core trainings , ensuring these trainings are completed, and that clear and accurate information about recommended or required trainings is communicated to providers. To ensure accountability, the Under Secretary for Health must submit regular reports, every 120 days, to the Congressional Committees on Veterans' Affairs until all these requirements are fully implemented.
