Rural Small Business Resilience Act

This bill, known as the Rural Small Business Resilience Act , aims to significantly improve access to disaster assistance for individuals residing in rural areas. It directs the Administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA) to take necessary actions to ensure full access to aid provided under Section 7(b) of the Small Business Act for those affected by disaster declarations. Specifically, within one year of the Act's enactment, the SBA's Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience must implement measures, including targeted outreach and marketing materials , to reach rural populations. The legislation also includes a technical amendment to redesignate a paragraph within Section 7(b) of the Small Business Act.
