HUD-USDA-VA Interagency Coordination Act

This legislation aims to enhance collaboration among federal agencies involved in housing programs. It directs the Secretaries of Housing and Urban Development, Agriculture, and Veterans Affairs to establish a memorandum of understanding or similar agreement. This agreement will facilitate the sharing of relevant housing-related research and market data to support evidence-based policymaking. Furthermore, the bill mandates these Secretaries to jointly submit a comprehensive interagency report to Congress within 180 days of enactment. This report must detail opportunities for increased collaboration to improve efficiencies across their respective housing programs and will be published in the Federal Register for public comment prior to its submission.
