Arctic Refuge Protection Act of 2025

This bill seeks to designate a significant portion of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska as wilderness. Specifically, it proposes to add approximately 1,559,538 acres of the refuge to the National Wilderness Preservation System, as generally depicted on a map dated October 20, 2015. This designation would amend the National Wildlife Refuge System Administration Act of 1966, thereby providing the highest level of federal protection for the specified area.
