Hot Foods Act of 2025

The "Hot Foods Act of 2025" proposes significant amendments to the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008, primarily aimed at expanding the types of food items eligible for purchase with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. Its core purpose is to allow beneficiaries to use their SNAP funds to buy hot foods or hot food products ready for immediate consumption , which are currently largely excluded.
