Dennis and Lois Krisfalusy Act

This bill seeks to expand eligibility for memorial headstones and markers furnished by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs. Currently, these benefits are limited to individuals who died on or after November 11, 1998, under existing law. The proposed legislation amends title 38, United States Code, specifically section 2306(b)(2), by removing this restrictive date. This change would allow certain individuals who passed away before November 11, 1998 , to also qualify for these memorial items, thereby broadening access to this important veteran benefit.
