This bill proposes to make members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and their specified family members ineligible for F (student) or J (exchange visitor) visas. The ineligibility applies to current and future CCP members, including those who have served on the National Congress, and extends to their spouses, children, parents, siblings, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. An exception is provided for individuals whose admission is necessary to comply with the United Nations Headquarters Agreement and other international obligations. Additionally, the President or a designee may waive this restriction if it is certified in writing to be in the national security interest of the United States.
