The resolution highlights the actions of a team, led by Chad Robichaux, comprising Special Operations veterans and one determined woman, who mobilized to rescue his combat interpreter and subsequently thousands of others. This team established a command center at Hamid Karzai International Airport (HKIA) and conducted non-stop rescue operations, successfully evacuating over 12,000 lives within 10 days despite facing significant adversity. Even after the initial HKIA operations, their dedication continued, leading to the rescue of an additional 5,000 individuals through alternate routes. The resolution specifically names key participants, including Chad Robichaux, Dennis Price, Tim Kennedy, and Sarah Verardo, commending their unwavering loyalty, dedication, and heroism in upholding the United States' promises to the Afghan people.
