It honors the victims and expresses profound sympathy for their relatives, who have endured over three decades without justice. The resolution underscores the United States' concern regarding the persistent delays in resolving this critical case, noting the alleged involvement of Iran and Hezbollah. The House of Representatives calls for the perpetrators, specifically Iranian and Hezbollah operatives , to be held accountable for their crimes. It commends the Government of Argentina for its recent actions, including designating Hezbollah as a terrorist organization, and for its highest criminal court affirming Iran's responsibility for the bombing as a "crime against humanity." Argentina has also passed a law allowing trials in absentia, leading to requests for international arrest warrants for Iranian officials. Furthermore, the resolution demands that INTERPOL member countries comply with existing arrest orders for individuals implicated in the AMIA attack.
