"Associated infrastructure" includes critical components like transmission lines, power substations, and natural gas facilities. Importantly, "Federal land" encompasses all land owned or managed by the United States, excluding land held in trust for Indian Tribes. All removal and remediation activities must adhere to environmental standards, including those outlined in the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980.
