Supporting Our Military Child Care Workforce Act

This bill, known as the "Supporting Our Military Child Care Workforce Act," mandates that the Secretary of Defense submit annual reports to Congress. These reports are specifically focused on the implementation of the redesigned compensation model for the Department of Defense's child development program, a requirement stemming from the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025.

The first report is due within one year of enactment, with subsequent reports annually until the compensation model is fully implemented. Each report must detail the status of implementation, the expected timeline for completion, and identify which requirements have been met or are still pending, with all data disaggregated by Armed Force. To ensure public access and transparency, the Secretary is also required to publish each report on a publicly available Department of Defense website within 30 days of its submission to Congress.
