This bill, titled the Reversionary Interest Conveyance Act, directs the Secretary of the Interior to convey the United States' reversionary interest in approximately 8.43 acres of land located in Sacramento, California. This conveyance is specifically for land under the administrative jurisdiction of the Bureau of Land Management. The process is initiated when the owner of record for any parcel within this covered land requests the purchase of the reversionary interest. The Secretary must offer and convey the applicable reversionary interest within two years of receiving a request, provided the buyer pays the fair market value . This value will be determined by an appraisal conducted according to federal standards, including the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions. Additionally, the buyer is responsible for all costs related to the conveyance, such as surveys, appraisals, and administrative fees. Proceeds from these sales will be deposited into the Federal Land Disposal Account and used in accordance with the Federal Land Transaction Facilitation Act. The bill also clarifies that it does not diminish existing rights-of-way associated with the land or validate any claims arising from adverse possession, prescription, or abandonment.
