Within 90 days of enactment, these policies must be published on an appropriate Department of Veterans Affairs website. The required documents include directives, handbooks, memoranda issued by the Under Secretary, and various guidance and procedure guides essential for understanding policy implementation and related programs. To ensure continued transparency, the legislation also establishes a clear process for keeping this information current. Any national policy that is established or revised after the bill's enactment must be included on the designated website within 30 days of its update. This provision aims to provide veterans, their families, and the public with timely and comprehensive access to the VHA's operational guidelines.
