Military Family Limb Loss Support Act

This bill directs the Secretary of Defense to establish the Military Family Limb Loss and Limb Difference Support Program , beginning in fiscal year 2028, to augment holistic rehabilitative care for military family members and other eligible beneficiaries experiencing limb loss or dysfunction. The program will provide essential services including peer mentorship and family support , education on limb loss care, community reintegration assistance, and coordination of nonclinical resources. The Secretary is authorized to partner with experienced organizations to deliver these services, supporting pediatric, military, and veteran populations. An implementation plan must be submitted to Congress within 180 days, detailing partner selection, estimated costs, staffing, and performance metrics, while also integrating with military health system research. Annual reports for four years are mandated, providing data on beneficiaries, services, identified gaps, and recommendations for improving support for affected military families.
