Veterans to Advanced Manufacturing Plan Act

This bill mandates the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to develop and publish the "Veterans to Advanced Manufacturing Plan" within 30 days of the Act's enactment. The plan's primary goal is to facilitate veterans' employment in the advanced manufacturing sector by identifying and addressing various obstacles.

Specifically, the Secretary must identify barriers veterans face in seeking, obtaining, and maintaining such employment, as well as challenges and regulatory burdens encountered by advanced manufacturing employers when recruiting and retaining veterans. It also requires highlighting veterans' specific skills relevant to the industry and opportunities to enhance existing initiatives.

The plan must recommend both short-term and long-term actions for the Secretary to implement. Furthermore, its development necessitates consultation with advanced manufacturing employers, institutions of higher education, and organizations representing advanced manufacturing employees to ensure a comprehensive and effective strategy.
