To qualify for these grants, schools must certify several conditions, including having a program for trained personnel to administer overdose reversal medications and maintaining an accessible supply of such drugs and devices. They must also ensure trained individuals are on premises during all operating hours. Furthermore, the State attorney general must certify that adequate civil liability protection exists for school personnel administering these treatments, ensuring legal safeguards for those providing emergency aid.
