This bill mandates the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to furnish or reimburse boxing-based exercise classes for veterans suffering from certain movement disorders. It amends title 38, United States Code, to ensure that enrolled veterans diagnosed with a covered movement disorder , such as Parkinson's disease, can access these classes for treatment. To be eligible, veterans must be enrolled in the VA health care system and elect to participate in these therapeutic classes. The VA can provide these services at its own facilities or reimburse veterans for classes taken at non-Department facilities. These provisions will become applicable to medical services provided 180 days after the Act's enactment.
