This bill directs the Secretary of the Interior to conduct a special resource study of the Scipio A. Jones House in Little Rock, Arkansas, to evaluate its national significance. The study will determine the suitability and feasibility of designating the house as a National Historic Landmark, an Affiliated Area of the National Park System, or including it as part of the Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site. It will also consider other preservation alternatives by various governmental or private entities, while explicitly prohibiting any options involving federal acquisition of lands or property. The Secretary is required to consult with interested parties, identify cost estimates for federal involvement in development or operation, and submit a comprehensive report to Congress within three years of funding, detailing the study's results, conclusions, and recommendations for the site's future.
