This bill mandates the Secretary of the Interior to transfer administrative jurisdiction of approximately 5,624 acres of land on Adak Island, Alaska, to the Secretary of the Navy. It will also facilitate training for aerial gunnery, rocketry, electronic warfare, and tactical maneuvering, alongside equipment and tactics development and testing. Crucially, the legislation removes this specific parcel of land from the National Wildlife Refuge System and the Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge, ensuring it is no longer subject to associated laws.
