The legislation further mandates that the Secretary coordinate enforcement of these standards with the states where an MA organization is licensed and where it operates. To enhance this collaboration, the Secretary is authorized to enter into collaborative enforcement agreements with states, aiming to strengthen oversight and ensure compliance of Medicare Advantage plans at the state level.
