Summary
This bill seeks to enhance youth suicide prevention and intervention efforts by amending the Public Health Service Act. It specifically focuses on empowering student-led campus groups , such as athletic teams and mental health clubs, to educate their peers on mental health, reduce stigma, and effectively intervene when students exhibit warning signs of mental health or substance use disorders.
