RAD Conversion Continuity Act

This bill, titled the "Rental Assistance Demonstration Conversion Continuity Act," aims to streamline the transition for public housing projects converting to the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program. It specifically allows projects with existing housing plans, approved under Section 7 of the United States Housing Act of 1937, to retain these approvals after their conversion to RAD. This provision ensures continuity and reduces administrative burdens for these projects. Furthermore, the legislation permits these projects to continue utilizing the same approval process for any future housing plan modifications or needs. However, projects retaining such approvals must still adhere to all original terms and conditions associated with those approvals and follow the same certification process as initially established under Section 9 of the United States Housing Act of 1937.
