Individuals must receive comprehensive written information detailing the reason for the adverse decision , along with specific dates and timeframes for the appeal process, including any other available appeal avenues and options for reapplication. Within 90 days, DHS must also make this information publicly accessible on its website, including a telephone number for appeal status inquiries. For those appealing through TRIP, written status updates must be provided at least every 30 days. The bill specifies that these provisions apply to programs such as PreCheck Global Entry SENTRI FAST NEXUS the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Business Travel Card program , ensuring a standardized redress mechanism across these key travel facilitation initiatives.
