CDFI Fund Transparency Act

This bill, known as the "CDFI Fund Transparency Act," seeks to amend the Riegle Community Development and Regulatory Improvement Act of 1994. Its core objective is to enhance congressional oversight and transparency regarding the operations of the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund). The legislation specifically requires the Secretary of the Treasury , or a designated official, to provide annual testimony before relevant congressional committees. This testimony would detail the Fund's operations from the preceding year, at the discretion of the Chairs of the House Financial Services Committee and the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
