His personal commitment was further demonstrated by his 2021 "Never Forget Walk" from the Pentagon to Ground Zero, reinforcing a national commitment to remembrance and service. The legislation directs the Secretary of the Treasury to design and strike the gold medal, also authorizing the production and sale of bronze duplicates to the public.
