AI Training for National Security Act

This legislation requires the Department of Defense (DoD) to enhance its annual cybersecurity training for all personnel. Specifically, it mandates that the Chief Information Officer of the DoD incorporate content addressing the unique cybersecurity challenges presented by artificial intelligence . Within one year of the Act's enactment, this revised training must be implemented for both members of the Armed Forces and civilian employees of the Department. The goal is to ensure that DoD personnel are adequately prepared to identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks associated with AI technologies.
